4 Way Stretch
Woven fabrics elastic in weave and warp. Four directions of elasticity offer the maximum liberty of movement during athletes’ performance. Besides following body movements, they exploit the advantages of compression tied to the best elastic ability of the woven fabric.

Windproof
We use the finest and performance membranes applied to the fabrics built with the most innovative yarns and the most suitable textures to guarantee an effective wind proofing even under the most difficult conditions.

Superlight
Built with thin and tenacious yarns, the Serates Function fabrics offer a perception of an amazing second skin, combined with all the necessary functionalities for extreme outdoor conditions.

Impermeable-breathable
Serates Materia proposes fabrics able to combine the maximum protection - withstanding the direct, continuous and persistent contact with rain and snow - to elevated breathable levels that allow the best possible bodily thermo-regulation during athletic performance.
To get these results we use membranes, resin finish and high performance special foams applied in our innovative finishing department.

Long lasting water repellent
This characteristic is obtained with plasma special finishing that prepares the fabric before being treated with water repellent.
It deals with workmanship that modifies the surface of the fabric exponentially increasing the absorbent level and accordingly, the ability to absorb in the successive phases, the water repellent function.
The result is that the fabrics preserve longer its impermeability characteristics over use, over washings (over 3 times the duration of common water repellent fabric).

Active Fabrics
Serates Materia proposes a line of fabrics produced with emana® yarn.
The fruit of a pioneer attitude in the textile sector, Serates has developed in close collaboration with the institutes of research that are state-of-the-art, a line of active fabrics that can promote the improvement of athletes physical performances.
These fabrics are achieved with special yarns that absorb the heat of the human body so that it can be returned naturally in the form of Far Infrared Rays (Far Infrared Rays = F.I.R.).
The natural heat of the F.I.R. penetrates the skin and interacts with the body, stimulating blood microcirculation and cellular metabolism without any collateral effect to the skin.
